The Opportunity

Just Capital is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and execute its revenue strategy during a key phase of growth. This is a player-coach role for a senior sales leader who will both drive revenue directly and help shape how Just Capital brings its research, data, and insights to market.

You will lead a small, high-impact sales effort supported by cross-functional partners across the organization. The role requires hands-on selling, strategic thinking, and close collaboration with leadership, marketing, product, and research teams. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys building from first principles and operating in lean, mission-driven environments.

As a senior leader, you will work closely with executive leadership and play a central role in strengthening Just Capital’s commercial approach and institutional relationships.

Expectations & Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver revenue goals for Just Capital’s products and services, with a primary focus on direct sales of Just Intelligence
  • Personally lead and close sales efforts from prospecting through contract execution
    Translate Just Capital’s research, data, and insights into clear, compelling value propositions for prospective customers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to apply target client segments, routes to market, and commercial priorities
  • Execute a marketing-led sales motion in close collaboration with Marketing and internal partners
  • Partner with Marketing to optimize online marketing programs and the digital purchase experience, using performance data to drive improvements in exposure, trial, and conversion
  • Support and scale distribution and channel partnerships in coordination with the Strategic Partnerships team
  • Establish effective sales processes and pipeline management practices to support scalable growth
  • Contribute senior leadership perspective in a small, fast-moving organization

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Approximately seven years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets through direct contribution
  • Experience selling research, data, software, or other knowledge-based products
  • Strong ability to communicate and sell intangible value
  • Deep B2B sales experience, with familiarity with B2C tools or go-to-market approaches
  • Comfort operating with limited infrastructure and high autonomy
  • Strategic, hands-on, and execution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency with AI and understanding of its commercial implications
    Clear alignment with Just Capital’s mission and values

Location: New York, NY – Four days a week in the office
